1.Can I work part-time in real estate?

3.How soon will I make an income? How much can I expect to earn?

First year production is extremely unpredictable. On average, it takes four to six months for a new Realtor to close their first transaction and receive a commission. First year top-producing "rookies" have earned incomes ranging from $25,000 to $40,000. Most second-year incomes range between $35,000 and $60,000.

4.How long does it take to get my license?

That depends on how fast you want to proceed. Some Realtors complete the on-line educational requirements in two weeks and are fully licensed within 30 days. You can extend the process for 60-90 days if you are transitioning from another career. 

5.What does it mean to be an Independent Contractor?

As an Independent Contractor you are your own boss. You set your own hours, business development practices, additional education courses, account for income and expenses, and payment of taxes to the Internal Revenue Service, etc. Town & Country Realty is here to support your business.
