Close to the town of Pennington Gap is this historic cabin, possibly built in the 1890's. It is ready for the handman to come and restore, or take down to make way for new. The exterior is covered with OCB that has protected much of the original wood used to build the cabin. The metal roof has provided the same protection. The layout could be reworked to make it a 2 bedroom. There is a spring on the property as well as a hand built cistern at the base of the foundation. Public water at the road if you wish There is an enclosed porch, but one corner is in need of support/I Jack....do not enter that way. There is a magnificent Black Walnut Tree right in front of the cabin. Quiet area with Mother Nature all around. Short walk down to the river to do some fishing! Could make a wonderful getaway!
